Trip Information
The trip will take place during July and August. Here are some general facts about it.
The distance from Bradford (UK) to Sardu in Romania is 1300+ miles.
I will depart from Bradford on the 17th July 2009 and hopefully arrive in Sardu, Romania by the 14th August 2009
I will cycle through the following countries en route; UK, Holland, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and finally Romania.
I will be cycling an average of 70 miles per day, with approximately 5 rest days built into my route.
I intend to camp for much of the journey but will also stay in a mixture of youth hostels and other budget accommodation when possible, specifically on my rest days. This will allow me to update the blog page and sort any issues with my gear whilst on the trip.
